Joann Berns, Physical Therapist

Joann Berns graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1976 with a BS in Physical Therapy. Joann received a certification in McKenzie approach to mechanical diagnosis and therapy in 1999 and maintains an avid interest in treatment of spinal problems. Joann has participated in numerous continuing education courses and maintained membership in the American Physical Therapy Association throughout her career. Joann has worked in a variety of settings in Nebraska and Colorado, and has worked exclusively in outpatient orthopedics since relocating to New England 25 years ago. Joann has worked in the Easthampton satellite for Cooley Dickinson Rehab Services for the past 14 years. Joann enjoys photography, video and active outdoor pursuits, as well as spending time with her family.

 

 
Pamela Cavanaugh, Physical Therapist

Pamela Cavanaugh received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston Ma with the honor of Magna Cum Laude in 1990. She has primarily worked in the outpatient setting with some acute care and management experience. She has attended multiple continuing education courses related to advancing her knowledge in manual treatment of the spine and extremities. She has most recently been focusing on expanding her expertise in the area of vestibular rehabilitation. Pamela's clinical interests include vestibular rehabilitation, orthopedics, sports medicine and orthotic intervention.

Pamela, her husband, and three children live in Northampton, Ma. She enjoys staying active by running, biking, swimming and, skiing. She has also enjoyed competing in sprint triathlons.

 

 
Julie Kosson, Physical Therapist

Julie Kosson graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in 1982, and a Master of Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University in 1991. She has worked in outpatient orthopedics, acute rehabilitation, and skilled nursing facilities. Continuing education has included participation in a residency program at the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy.
